Convert Excel VBA into Applescript for Excel(repost)

I have a user-defined function in VBA for Excel 2004 for windows. However, Excel 2008 for Mac does not support VBA. I'd like to convert the VBA code to Applescript so I can use this spreadsheet in Excel 2008 for Mac.
