Build Your Own Merchandise Software

I am in need of a script for my online store where the customer can create/build their own custom merchandise. For example. If I am selling mousepads, I would like the customer to be able to select different images and backgrounds to customize their mousepad and the information (background and images chosen) will be saved to a database or emailed to me so I know what the custom order is. A similar website that I have found that has the "build your own" function is [login to view URL] (see Build a Bracelet link). I want something similar to this where the customer has total control on how their custom merchandise will look and submit the order. I don't need anything fancy. I'm on a very low budget. I would like to use this for different kinds of custom merchandise I offer. If anyone can help, let me know. I just need the script.
