Change membership system on website

The website sells access to protected content (sports picks) on varying lengths (1 day, 3 days, 7 days etc) Currently, the website uses ecsuite (similar to ccbill) and they handle memberships through an htaccess file they control. Client wants to switch over to a paypal driven cart and have easier control over memberships. Currently, people sign up for a free 30 day trial and get to view 1 pick each day (normally client has 4-5 picks). If they pay for a membership, they'll see this free pick, also the other pay picks. You'll provide a clean membership process where people can - sign up for a 30 day trial - purchase pay memberships - allow the client to edit members (manually add, extend etc) - allow client to create a discount code (or coupon) that people can use to receive a % off. Would like to see examples of any paypal type membership systems you either have used, or will use (if there is a clean out of the box script, I'll pay for it and have you implement it if it can fit seamlessly into the site)
