I've been using a CMS that is not brand name. I hired someone to create it many years ago using solely php and integrate it with MySQL. I've been using this CMS to add blog entries to my website. My website is a computer tutorial website and has many categories for content. My most recent blog post was about 3 Best Motherboards of 2011, so for example:
I categorized this post as Article, Motherboard, CPU, CompTIA A+. You get the idea. This way, this blog post shows up on category pages that deal with these topics.
However, I became and affiliate to an online merchant and want to sell their product subscription on my site. Which means that I need a new category made. I think it's easy but I don't want to tinker with the code or the db. And I also have MySQL file from the merchant to be able to add their product details on my site. Since the number of products exceed 1000, I'll need someone to go into phpMyAdmin and work from their or whatever automated way suits you. It's definitely not a manual entry work.
I've even made a mockup product page for you to be able to replicate how all product pages should end up looking like by the time you're done.
I'm not too advance in PHP or MySQL but I've hired enough people to know that this is a 6-7hr job by someone who knows they are doing and probably 8-9 hrs by medium level person.
Remember, Price does make a difference and so does bombarding me with info that I didn't ask for. Please don't sell me on things that I wouldn't need. Good Luck to You All!
