I have a website which was hacked a few months back. Since then, the mysql database is behaving strangely (for example I can't see many of the categories but they still appear to be working). Another example is that I have just tried to create a new admin. I already have 2 and would expect next the next creation to have an id of 3. However, it created user id of 22. so I have id 1, 2,22 Are there entries that the database is not showing me?
Main problem though is that, I am unable to log into my admin pages. The admin pages are used to add entries into the mysql database without having to go into the actual database directly. The admin table appears to be in the database with all the correct sections e.g. name, password etc.
However the log in page simply will not take me to this php page on my website allowing me to enter the details which are then written into the database.
I either need this fixed or a new admin section created.
Hello - Well I need more details on the admin panel. How many pages are there which might be re-created? I am understanding your issues. The database was hacked, and the added index have been removed. I dont see IDs to be an issue, because the admin IDs might have been deleted. There is no way to revert those ID, and it will count deleted ones as well. However, if you truncate and add previous admins, IDs can be re-indexed.. Thanks.
