I reboot (with screen attached) I get the BIOS< centoS boot mentu and then a screen with a X on it I am using a AGP graphics card that works before this point. I was wondering perhaps there is some setting that makes it not work? this happens after centos inits the hardware network and audio I can get into a ento os screen before it boots it i a blue screen with centos at the bottom e to edit the commands before booting a to modify the kernel arguments beofre booting or c for the command line I can edit the start in grub editor to this... kernel /[login to view URL] ro root=3D/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet Since the graphics card works it may just be a typo on the startup line referencing some OS that is updated and no longer exists?
