Customize the jxTended Finder component for Joomla

We have a Joomla 1.5 website with a search bar on top that uses the jxTended Finder component for the search functionality. We need to extend this component such that it "searches" for more content than just articles. I know there are plugins that exist to add search capabilities, but we need to create a plugin that would allow to search through the following Joomla components: - Moset Tree directory - Instant PHP jobs - Listbingo - Kunena forum The search results page will need to group the results per component. For example, JOBS: [instant PHP jobs results] FORUM POSTS: [kunena forum posts results] etc... The search bar will have 2 radio groups under it : SEARCH BAR: __________________ search the web: [radio] Google [radio] Bing search the portal: [radio] Jobs [radio] Forum ...etc for each component Only the interesting bids will be contacted and will get the link.
