I'm looking for a skilled developer with previous experience in custom WordPress (3.x) theme development.
Simply put, your first priority task is to build a basic landing page theme that captures users email address (with a simple form) and adds him/her to a spesific list that the site admin has enabled from the Theme Settings.
From the theme settings, site admin must be able to select his preferred list from Aweber or MailChimp. The form on the landing page, will then add the user to that particular list.
You need to access Aweber and MailChimp API's when implementing this.

DESIGN & STRUCTURE:
You should use some "Starter Theme" as the basis of this custom theme. This is required to make sure that every default WP page template work nicely (single post, category archive, etc.). Check:

After the basic theme foundation is ok, your main focus should be in the front page template. To get a rough idea of the front page layout, check [url removed, login to view] This theme will have much less "bells & whistles" though.
DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS:
You'll get the full landing page spesifications, functionality requirements and and site layout mock up if I find your application promising.
PROJECT BUDGET:
- Required functionality & basic site layout: $200-$300. Graphics and more advanced functionality (optional): We'll discuss these later.
BEFORE YOU APPLY, these are the job candidate requirements:
1. You must have prior development experience with custom WordPress themes - WORK EXAMPLES ARE MANDATORY.
2. You need to understand and be able to implement custom WP theme development best practises.
3. Buzzwords concerning this theme: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, 3rd party API's, starter theme, responsive design. (you should be screaming "I live for this sh**!" right about.. now ;)
4. You must be able to start before 1st of March, 2012.
