Blood Donation Online Application
This application will allow for the storage of blood donors contact data including, blood type and donation dates.
The program will have the ability to send out alerts to donors when their particular blood type is needed and also when it's time for them to donate blood. The script will be mainly admin controlled with a simple user registration on the front end. Here are a list of features for the script and the admin.
Admin and Application Features:
Data management of donor information including
- adding, editing and deleting of donors and updating of information
Data search including
- search for donor by blood type, name, email
Donor Alert notification and newsletter management including
- alert sent to donor when blood type is needed to all who are in that group
- alert sent to donor when donation date is due (can be set by admin for all users eg: every 8 weeks)
Donor Stats including
- donor with most donations made
- amount of donors in database
- last donations made and dates
- most donated blood type
- most requested blood type
- last donor added
Social Network Integration
- Facebook Connect (register via facebook)
- Twitter Alerts when blood is needed
Invite contacts and friends
- Allows users to invite email contacts from hotmail, yahoo, gmail etc. to register to the system.
Registered user features
- User Frontend Fields include:
first name*, last name*, email address*, telephone, city, country, date of birth, blood type*. *required fields.
- User Dashboard allows users to view and edit their alerts, blood type and other profile information.
They can view their donation stats, news from the admin and newsletters.
I need this to be a very lightweight application written in PHP that will load quickly, do quick search results, quick data entry and editing via javascript, ajax and xhtml fields. The admin side should be very clean and quick loading. I need this to be entirely template based and easy to edit.
