Add Progress Bar To PHP File Hosting Script

Wanting to add a progress bar to my current php file hosting scipt. Right now it just shows ///// as the file is uploading and doesn't give any information. The script is a heavily modified version of IMS Pro.
Lets assume a user is uploading 6 files, I would like to have the progress bar show the graphical status of each file upload such as percent complete, how much has been uploaded so far such as (3.7 MB / 8.62 MB), time till finish, elapsed time and things like that as well as a second graphical bar showing overall progress of all files. I am open to suggestions and using whatever you think would be the best fit for this project.
Progress bars seem to be very common now where they were difficult when the original script was written so I assume today this would be considered a simple project. For a simple example, please search for fhscript or yabsoft on google and upload some random files to get a good idea of what I'm looking for.
