ding a popup calendar date to a textbox(s) which in a datalist grid

I have textbox for date in a datalist control, i have given my textbox name as "txtStartDate" and i used calendar control to desplay date in the textbox ,since my textbox in a datalist control though i gave id=txtStartDate it is getting changed to id="dlCodeList:_ctl0:txtStartDate" but my calendar control expect textbox id=txtStartDate instead of dynamically created id="dlCodeList:_ctl0:txtStartDate", how to resolve this problem and how can pass the dynamic textbox id to below javascript function wich open a popup calendar and desplay data into textbox. <a href="javascript:calendar_window=[login to view URL]('[login to view URL]','calendar_window','width=154,height=188');[login to view URL]()"><IMG src="Images/[login to view URL]" align="absBottom" border="0"> Please let me know how to fix this. And similar i have a textbox in datalist control whic is getting looped and changed its id to "dlCodeList__ctl1_txtOffercode", i need to open lookup window (You can see attached picture for better understanding) and i nee to select a offercode into the textbox which is under the datalist (i can select any of the textbox in the datalist. i think the logic should be the same for the both queries, i could do if the texbox id is standard by passing the id of the textbox. but unable figure it out how to do with a textbox under datalist whose id is changed upon databinding.
