Customizing VLC Media player

Video player can be any off-the shelf videoplayer. Video player retrieves content from hard drive or DVD’s. The content isdecoded and the decoded content is passed to Sub-framer. In the Sub-framer, aframe is divided into regions and the regions are separated into two groups(Group A and Group B). For Sub-frame 1, the intensity of Group A regions isreduced by 50% and the rest is unchanged. For Sub-frame 2, the intensity ofGroup B regions is reduced by 50% and the rest is unchanged. Preferably, theshape and pattern of regions are different in different part of the video. Sub-frames are then put directly to screen display withpixel one-to-one direct corresponding between frame and display. All Sub-framesare presented within the same frame period, i.e. the present frame rate has tobe double if there are 2 Sub-frames for every frame.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
