ASP.NET 2.0 Web Design and Development for Web Application

**1. ** **Overview** Our goal is to create a **Web Application** for a Human Resource (HR) Department. The HR Department will use this application to better organize itself and to retrieve data from the system in order to improve the decision making process. The application will be used from different users, each of which may have different rights and differentiated interface (fewer functions, different menu, different colors…), according to his role. The application should support all the C.R.U.D. (Create Retrieve Update Delete) Operations. The application also has to provide graphs and reports from the data stored in the HR Database, based on filters given from the users. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). **2. ** **Requirements for the UI** 1 Friendly user interface. 2 Global user interface (same interface in the application). 3 Functionality. 4 Easily customizable. **3. ** **Expectations** We would like to have a User Interface which has all the previous mentioned characteristics. That is the main objective of your job. A nice web user interface. We also want to have the User Interface designed in such a way that will help us to be more productive and to easily bind our web forms to our objects and database. For all these reasons, we concluded to the following things (of course, we are open to hear nice new proposals): 1. We would like to have **only one** page (for example [login to view URL]), which will be the main interface of the application. All the other pages will be loaded in this pageas User Controls. This main page will also have a menu and a SitePath(ASP.Net 2.0) based on the SiteMapobject (ASP.Net 2.0)and a panel on which extra info will appear (User Info, Login/Logout, Help, etc).We would like, if possible, this page ([login to view URL]) to be designed according to one or two Master Pages (ASP.Net 2.0) so that we can change it in the future (or dynamically change it for personalization). 2. We would like to have **two** User Controls (ascx)that will work as a Host for our true Forms : o A general one (for example [login to view URL]) where the true List Forms(User Controls also)will be loaded. The Control ([login to view URL]) will have: a) the buttons for the C.R.U.D., a Searchbutton , a Refresh button, a Print button (maybe as a toolbar) b) an empty panel (as a toolbar)forother operations(that will be taken from specific List Forms via code) c) an emptypanel where specific List Forms will be loaded. o A general one (for example [login to view URL]) where the true Edit Forms (User Controls also) will be loaded. The Control ([login to view URL]) will have a) the buttons for the C.R.U.D. , a Search button , a Refresh button, a Print button (maybe as a toolbar) b) an empty panel (as a toolbar) for other operations (that will be taken from specific Edit Forms via code) c) an empty panel where specific Edit Forms will be loaded. 3.
