Convert from VB to VC++ plus enhancements

Project Objective:

I have a program in VB6 that connect to an SQL Server retrieve a record set of strings, then call a COM object (written in VC++) and save the strings into a resource DLL (again written in VC++)

The program is used to load resources dll with strings for different languages.

I have the source code from VB program and COM plus the resources dll.

The job is to move the program from VB6 to C++ and incorporate the COM code into the main program.

Enhancements:

Create a combo box with available languages from the SQL Server (at the moment is hard coded into the VB combo box). This will require calling an extra store procedure.

Option to load more than one language and to specify the message range (at the moment the program load one language at the time and load all the strings for that language)

For the COM object overload one method to accept one more parameter (at the moment the location of the resource DLL is read from registry. I will like an extra method where I specify the location of the resource DLL)

For a good VC++ programmer the job will take 2-3 day, but just in case budget for max 1 week.

The program is one form application. I don’t want to use MFC dll.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
