Automatic Windows Hosting Setup

This project involves the creation of two programs, we would prefer that they are written in either Borland C++ or Visual Basic. The first program will act as a scheduler running roughly every 5 minutes. We have a perl version of this program (we call it qrunner) currently running on a Solaris box. It will need to be re-written to be a native windows application. The program reads from an sql table on a microsoft sql box, the table contains various fields and commands within those fields that determine what to do. I have attached the documentation regarding how we currently add/delete users. We anticipate having two new commands that will trigger other events on the IIS server. Specifically ADDWINUSER and NEWWINWEBSITE these commands will call the second program either as a single command or multiple commands. Other commands would have to be created to suspend and delete. The second application will create/delete/suspend windows web hosting customers on a windows iis server. The program will be triggered by the commands from the previous scheduler application. Usage of the proposed windows creation application will be as follows. Accept the following command line -f <fullname> - u <username> -p <password> -s <domainname> -n <numeric customer id> -a <CREATE|SUSPEND|REMOVE> Create action Create user account under proper context Create Webserver using UNC path Server will need its id to match our customer id Create user web directories on proper devices using UNC ie //ntwebhost/webs/<domain> Add Front page extensions to created account Create FTP server for customer website upload Start Website Create webalyzer configuration settings Suspend Stop Website and disable account Remove Stop Website Archive Website to archive directory Remove frontpage extensions Remove ftp server Remove website Remove website directory structure Remove webalyzer configuration details Our intention is to use this and a few of the other projects we have posted recently and will be posting in the next several days to find a few folks to help us work through several outstanding projects we have over the next few months. We anticipate using the coders that we find we work well with for these upcoming projects and future projects as needed. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows Advanced Server, IIS, file storage is on a Netapp file. The sql server is running Microsoft SQL.
