Application Downloader

Requirement Specification for **Application Downloader**

** Application Downloader**is Java application (must developed in J2ME) which will get information of Mobile (Manufacturer and Model number like Nokia 6600), and according to information of mobile it should download and install another application.

For downloading another application from server **Application Downloader** should able to communicate with our server which will developed in Java ( Servlet ), **Application Downloader** has to send Mobile Information ( Model and Manufacturer) to our Server and our Server will send response (URL of new application) to **Application Downloader.**

**Requirement**

* Application Downloader must developed in Java with MIDP so we can use it with all mobile

* Communication from Application Downloader and our Server should be done via HTTP protocol

* When Application will communicate with our Server application, our application will reply it URL of appropriate application, according to that URL Application Downloader able to install it.

* Our server can only provide URL to Application Downloader as response.

* In case of JSR75 client there will be two file JAD and JAR as installation package, Application Downloader should able to download JAR file via JAD file, JAD contains certificates and installation information of JAR file which should be taken care ( Specially certificate).

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
