We would like to customize one of our Asterisk installations with the following feature(s). 1) When an agent calls on a pre-assigned DID during working hours, say 8:00 am to 6:00 pm 2) He/She will be asked for Agent Number & PIN number, 3) Upon successful Validation the Call shall be hanged and Call Details shall be recorded. 4) The agent will call every hour, but If the agent miss the hourly call for some reason, a Callback will be initiated to the Agent pre-assigned Phone Number. 5) Once the agent Answer the call, an Announcement will be played; after the Announcement Step 2 and 3 will be repeated. 6) A log of all the calls 'Received' from agents and calls 'Made' to Agents should be sent out to a pre-defined email address; at a specified time each day. The report can be categorized either by Agent Number or PIN Number or any other criteria. Above is a summary of what we are trying to achieve, further specifics can be shared if required. Please keep in mind, this task will be used as a screening exercise to find out the right developer for our future projects which will be posted later on; and to build a long-term working relationship. I think your goals can be accomplished through some dialplan functionality with AGI scripts and CRON jobs using a MySQL database. Are the working hours set by agent or is it a static 8am-6pm schedule?

First requirement ca be performed using agi Second and third can be configured using asterisk features. For fourth we will use cron job and Asterisk AMI I don't understand requirement fivreth I perform report script like this in ruby for other company, can edit it for your requirements.

I can do that, i made some very similar project. I will use bash scripting and html/php for programming, and i will use mysql databases. I will make a custom context what will interrogate the databases, and what will write data here to complete your requirement. To be able to change pin codes and phone numbers i will give you web interfaces on same server with asterisk. For more details we can discuss punctually. All codes will be published on a documentation where will be explained the whole function logic.
