Since a number of you have submitted bids with relevant experience I have designed a very small evaluation project that shows some of the features and concept used in the main project. For an experienced AJAX, asp.net this should a real simple deal. Use the following asp and AJAX controls. Evaluation Project: Label Tree DataGrid DetailsView Live Search Using AJAX (Update Panel etc.) Divide the screen space in one horizontal ( 1) and two vertical panels(2,3). The horizontal panel sits on the vertical panels. In (1) place the DetailsView, Label and the Live Search control. Attach the DetailsView to any database with a table with three columns and 5 rows of data. In (2) Place the Tree view control. (Bind this to xml data source, should be such that it provides an index into the database 5 leaves point to each row index) In (3) place a GridView. Attach it to same database as DetalsView in (1). Make sure the select row feature is enabled in the GridView. Use AJAX update panels to update/postback panels without refreshing other areas and the whole page. Functionality. Clicking on any of the five leaves in the tree should synchronize the data shown in the Details View. Selection a row in the GridView should select the same leaf in the Tree and the DetailsView By typing a search and clicking the search button a dropdown box should appear. In the Label put your name. Note; The LiveSearch is bonus not necessary. Using Silverlight is an extra bonus.
