Changes on a PHP Based Web Application

This calls for changes of an existing web application, the application is coded in php and is used for maintaining customer sales records and assigning loyalty points accordingly. We require a general makeover, along with the addition of another module to maintain a daily record of sales. There is an admin and a user section, these need to interact together as information entered in the user section will be used by the admins and vice versa. Attached are screenshots of the existing program. The system is currently very stable but the design lacks professionalism. We will not be working on the live system, instead we will work on another hosting, we will eventually move the live data to the new and completed system. Also, the system currently has no security in place. When shifting to the now system, the new hosting already has security measures such as ssl but our experience on web application development is limited so suggestions for additional security measures are more than welcome. A deep understanding of web development and databases is expected for this project. Please keep in mind that we have a number of ongoing projects, so we are looking at a long term relationship, prices need to be competitive as our projects are for resale.
