Complex Excel VBA Macro

Hello, Part 1: The project in question is primarily, the creation of an advanced Excel macro. However, this project may include extracting data from a SQL 2008 R2 database. The spreadsheet is used as a template for a customer's inventory reports and has a heavy emphasis on formatting and layout. Currently, it is a very manual and therefore, time-consuming process we are seeking help with. The creation of this macro to get raw data in the correct format for the customer is the primary goal. Part 2: We have a newly created .NET web app that runs on top of the SQL 2008 R2 database mentioned above. The site was built for shipment tracking purposes but we are constantly searching for other ways we can use it. Once the spreadsheet macro is working as expected, we would like to explore the option of getting that information on our website. We expect the candidate to be able to proficiently create SQL stored procedures, table structures, and query's. This project requires someone who can understand the business needs, offer valuable feedback, and act as a part of our team. Candidate must be able to work independently and meet milestones with tight deadlines. Expected work percentage by category: 65% Excel/VBA, 25% SQL, 10% .NET. Connectivity will be accomplished through a SSL VPN connection. Software licenses will not be provided as a part of this agreement, candidate must have necessary software to complete project.
