Android Tablet app launcher development

We are a vertical market solution provider Job description: We are looking for a mobile Developer who will take care for the development of an Android app. The application will be a simple launcher for old people (first app/home screen when device is run) for an Android Tablet (10') Here's what you need to know. We will provide you: - the wireframe of the expected application behaviour - a description of the expected security mechanism on the device + the verification of customer right to run the app on that device Your responsibilities: - Review the wireframe and ask for additional details if needed - Proactively contribute with ideas for making the application better and easier to use - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - being a tablet launcher app, ensure that the application has a little memory footprint - Work with the QA teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround Expected deliverables: - Android apk - brief documentation - source code - instruction & support in order for us to be able to sign and publish it on Android Market - A declaration where Intellectual property for the app will be transfer to us + the promise not to develop similar app for other company or for yourself Your qualifications: - proven programming experience in complex Android applications - Programming languages: Android SDK, Java - UX design skills - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - The drive, flexibility and passion to work independently and thrive in a remote-work environment - A complete Freelancer profile and established reputation
