Distribution of parts on a conveyor belt (distance between the parts). Control of jamming of the conveyor by means of measuring the power consumption of the drive or detected by sensors. Tell me a real example of a process that needs to be controlled.

I will design the system using ABB PLC for example (AC500) and a simple process panel or i can build a graphic for you in the PLC program itself. so all you need to buy is a simple AC500 PLC ONLY and if you have extra IOs you will need an extension IO cards.I will design the system and support you remotely because i'm outside Canada.
