Design of medical devices

Hi, I am an experienced Industrial designer with over 9 years in design consulting. Of this I have been working on medical devices for over 6 years. products designed range from personal care inhalers, surgical saws, lab equipment, diagnostic devices,etc. aware of FDA and ISO requirements for medical devices. Your description suggests something in the line or surgical/ ortho product, but unable to guess the exact nature of product. some information on that would help. Hello! I've worked in the orthopaedic industry since 2001 (mainly with DePuy International) and in fact I've just finished (literally yesterday) a project with a client designing bone plates for infants. I'm sure my experience in this area will be of benefit to your project.
