Design Logo For The Daily Upstart Show

We are commissioning the design of a logo for a show called The Daily Upstart Show. The Daily Upstart Show is for everyone starting, planning to start or considering to start their own business. Each episode features an interview with ordinary people who took the leap; sharing tips, tools and insights that have helped them accomplish the extraordinary. The tagline of the show is "Be Inspired By True Stories." The atmosphere of the show is exciting, upbeat and inspiring. The winning designer will design a logo which visually conveys that essence. The concepts that we would like to have emphasized in the logo are: Day - (i.e. yellow, sun, calendar, etc.) Growth - (i.e. green, upward motion, up arrows, etc.) Start The winning designer will be given creative liberty to incorporate elements that best convey the concepts above; Day, Growth and Start. The terms that we would like to have emphasized in the logo as text are: Daily Upstart The main application of the logo will be for TV and web. We would prefer that the logo be designed with one or two colors from the preferred colors list found below. However, we will gladly consider other recommendations from the winning designer. We would like to avoid complex color schemes and gradients as we intend to use the logo as a watermark on each episode. Clean bold lines. 2. Crisp colors. 3. Simple smart design. 4. Logo that will legible as a user icon on Twitter.
