I need a simple app that will analyze a csv file and display column B values (no duplicated) where user input equals any word found in column A.
I think D3.js should be able to work, but please recommend your approach in the proposal.
Data table is attached.
User input will by matched with any word in column 'Activity'
Result list will appear real-time below this input, from column 'contractor'. and a total average from column 'value'. If name in 'contractor' is multiple, only show once.
Basically I want to have a d3.js app on my site where user can easily search the table to get stats.
Hi, I have experience with similar stuff. D3.js won't be necessary, there are smaller javascript libraries available which can do the same job. I can do this really fast, just provide me with your existing webpage code (or I can do this in new blank page and you can later add your existing parts).
Hope to hear you soon,
Stefan
Hi,
We would also recommend d3 as we are much experienced with it and has done many projects with it. We need a little more time to understand your data structure. We'll confirm it from you and than we are good to go. Looking forward for your response on this. Also we can share our past d3 work as a reference if you ask.
Thanks.
Looking forward to support you with this project. I handle a high volume of d3.js projects. So I can offer high quality for a reasonable price. best regards, Joerg.
Hello
For filter purpose d3.js is not required. You can use datatable plugin. As D3.js is heavy in size and if you don't need any graphical representation you can use datatable.
Can you kindly inform me more details about it?
Hello.
I'm a JavaScript and HTML5 expert with experience in creating interactive applications with maps, charts, graphs and animations (see my portfolio for examples of my work). I have experience working with various JS libraries.
The results will be displayed as a bar chart, or stacked bar chart. A simple styled table could also be used, instead of a chart.

Hi,
We have expertise in d3.js and we have recently concluded a d3.js project in which we created different graphs from the csv file, we also added some other functionalities to filter the columns in the table. We have reviewed your requirements and we understand that you want user to search the csv easily in order to get the stats but we are unclear about the flow you want to implement.
In short, we need to discuss the details and you can message us here in order to get a better understanding to proceed forward.
Thanks
