To the person interested, We're seeking an desktop/browser software developer/programmer to create a PC (MAC compatible) marketing research application. The tool scrapes web content; stores the mined data to a database and can export to CSV. The tool can recall previous research, sort the data, and filter the data in a grid - to allow further sorting, web mining, and analysis. We're looking for modern design for user interactions. The tool will mine data through multiple (parallel), simultaneous, anonymous, proxy connections - directly accessing the Internet without opening a browser. Pay ------------ We will pay you for agreed milestones and a completely tested app. You will be required to transfer the complete source code and all copyrights to us, as a condition for working with us. No exclusions or exceptions. Attribution ------------ In addition, it is very important to us that you are recognized for your talents. Please clarify (1) Are you mining from a number of specific sites, in which case the structure and the content of the data is predetermined for onward storage in databases of predetermined schemas, and exporting to spreadsheets of predetermined structure (2) or would you require further processing of the mined data in order to filter, discard stuff and re-format or restructure.
