The Project is to promote health and nutrition through a healthy lunch and snack box, designed for schools and sports academies. Dealing with children ranging from 4 to 18 years old. The lunch box and snack box is delivering a healthy and nutritious meal while still being delicious and exciting. The box is also an educational platform teaching the youth about nutrition and healthy habits. The objective is to create and instil health habits so that they become part of their everyday life when they are older. The goal is to also decrease obesity, type 2 diabetes and chronic illnesses over time due to healthy habits now being practiced. The goal is to create a health movement amongst the youth so that they are excited to share the topic, the food and ideas about healthy eating, instead of finding the subject boring or not interesting. The box is to be interactive with a link, website or Qr code to link the box to the world wide web. Its is the millennial generation we are dealing with so there needs to be a bridge between the two. The website and content will have info on health and nutrition, fun games and activities that promote an active lifestyle. The goal is to also align with educational institutions, corporates and government to drive this movement. The box has to be visually attractive as this the first aspect the youth will come into contact with. A box that appeals to them visually. The box needs to be symmetrical in design for ease of packing and logistics. Environmentally friendly and low cost so affordable for all. The box will always contain three items. A juice, savoury and a dessert.
