Develop a website displaying a dashboard with charts and tables that are linked to data in an excel sheet

Develop a website displaying a business dashboard with charts and tables that are linked to data in an excel sheet in Dropbox, and are updated on a frequent basis (e.g. when we change the data in the tables in dropbox). With this we wish to replace what we are currently doing in the program called “klipfolio”.

Currently, the data is presented via a web-based programme called Klipfolio --- this is the system we want to replace by making our own website with the same functions.

Klipfolio enables to link the charts and tables to excel sheets saved in Dropbox, and every time we update the excel sheets in Dropbox, then the charts and tables changes accordingly to predefined specifications e.g. to show data from the last 12 months.

Project Outline and requirements for the new web-based dashboard:

• We still need the graphs to be linked to a excel sheet in dropbox

• We still need to be able to change/make corrections to the texts and graphs

However we also would like the following:

• Use our own hosting site [url removed, login to view] (we will provide you with access data)

• We will need several bar and line charts that automatically updates daily (maybe via webscraping, RSS feeds or xml/json feeds), this would be graphs such as currency rates, stock exchange index, daily raw material prices from Shanghai Futures Exchange, interest rates, etc.

• All the graphs should be displayed on one full standard computer screen and smartphone screen without being forced to scroll in order to see all the graphs. We acknowledge that the graphs in this case will be smaller and unreadable for some people, which is why we would like an “enlarge” function to each of the graphs that opens each graph in the same window as an enlarged graph that are readable for our users.

• The dashboard should be designed for laptop browsers and for smartphones.

• There should be a login-feature that clients can use to login and see their specific dashboard made specifically for them and them only.

• Preferably, we would like an app in app store and google play, which our customers can download and be able to login and see their dashboard on their smartphone.

• The dashboard should be able to be downloaded in PDF format.
