Design a Website Mockup

MoviePix is a movie suggestion app. It asks you questions about which movies you like & tries to understand your personality in order to make suggestions on what movies you should watch in the future. Think Pandora, but for movies. The idea is if you're bored one night and want something to watch, but you're not sure what to pick, this will give you suggestions. Attached are some screenshots showing the basic concept. Right now my goal is to get a minimum viable product into the app store & onto a website. These are the bare-minimum required features: #1) Search for movies by Title or Actor #2) Add movies to list of "seen" movies. #3) Rate movies in a side-by-side comparison (user picks which one they think is better/worse) #4) View list of recommended movies based on what the app learned about the user's preferences #5) Allow user to "thumbs-down" a suggested movie, to remove it from suggestions list (improve algorithm's knowledge of user preferences). #6) Allow user to filter list of recommendations by MPAARating, Genre(Mood), FreeOnNetflix, FreeOnAmazon, Type(TV/Movie) #7) Allow user to add movies to their "want to watch" list. #8) Link from movie to Amazon Instant Video URL to allow user to pay for & watch movie The websites of competitor apps that I think are most similar to my vision are: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] This project will involve building the user interface and designing it so that everything looks good.
