Hi i work with wordpress and there are many ways to achieve a stunning home page. The page you provided the original developer kindly provided a tutorial on how to achieve their effect. That being said I guess you want something original that you can call your own. In order to best assist you I would like to understand what you want to achieve graphically and with animations.
