I’m seeking 2D artist to help me create a game taking place in a world of magic.
The following are the general outline of the work:
Characters:
- 3 different characters (general outline will be provided)
- each character requires one full/half body portrait and one top-down image (see attached files)
- the details of the characters will be similar to the files attached, nothing too fancy
- I do not have requirements for clothing and accessory, you can be as creative as you want
Icons:
- 10 different icons of magic spells (fireball, teleportation, etc)
Animations:
- 2 character animations
- each character animation takes ~4-8 frames
- 10 animations of magic spells
- each spell animation takes ~1-4 frames (fireball = 3 frames; teleportation = 1 frame)
- each animation must be broken down into PNG files with transparent background
Backgrounds:
- 3 different background images (game play, character selection, lobby)
- backgrounds need to allow user interface/characters to stand out
- each background needs to include its user interface such as buttons and scroll views for various things (specifications will be provided)
- each background must be unique and related to the theme
Optional:
- please send me a sketch any magic related character (wizard, dragon, elf, etc) in full/half body portrait along with your bid
- previous portfolio work with similar requirements will qualify as a submission
- priorities will be given to those with a sketch submitted
- this sketch will be entitled to you, I will not be using it with my game unless you are hired
- the style I’m looking for is anime with a slightly realistic feel rather than cartoon style
- you may submit more than one sketch showing off different art style if you wish
