Design a Website Mockup

Hi Everyone... Please read thoroughly to get full picture.. My site runs Wordpress at [login to view URL] and X-cart Ecommerce Software are [login to view URL] I need someone to take a look at my frontage [login to view URL] and make improvements to the layout... I have already started with photo below but I need someone to alter it from what it is now, to a layout that is easier to follow and more user intuitive. Please note I DO NOT need a full re-design.. My header, and general layout is great. My idea was to make it more "Windows 7" in the middle section... I still wish to keep the Video on front page but below that everything can change. Ideas for the left column also welcome. The biggest areas to focus on my site are: - Newest Magic Tricks ([login to view URL]) - Instant Downloads Section ([login to view URL]) - Exclusive 5 Magic Tricks (perhaps as picture or however you see fit) - Latest Live Lectures - Magic News ([login to view URL]) - Directory of Magicians ([login to view URL]) - Cardistry (not set up but a category for card magic lovers who love different styles of playing cards) - Welcome message (where you can see the first line but then has 3 arrows down and is an accordion that opens up to display rest) - Area to capture email offering special offers and news - Perhaps Easy - Medium - Difficult categories for magic tricks If there are any areas that you think are important and good for marketing let me know. I can provide full Analytics access so you can see what the customer wants. Please get inspiration from: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] I have 2 markets, beginners in magic / hobbyists and the professional magician and need to cater to both. There is a smaller market of people looking for magicians for events which I would also like to target a little. --------------------------------- I have a problem with Wordpress only allowing I think 25 menu items... every time I add an extra menu item after the 25 it then deletes another! I have increased the threads my server allows but it didn't fix the problem... hopefully you can. This is for my main shop menu on the left hand side and in menu bar. -------------------------------- Right now My front page is almost completely SCRAPED from [login to view URL] (This is x-cart) I have realised this is extremely bad for SEO and wish to still scrape everything as set up on the page except for the main content in the middle. So the Video slideshow and (purchase this trick) which depends on which video someone is choosing will stay but below that everything can change. Any changes you recommend to the left hand column can be added as a widget. I'm not sure how scraping works so would need you to see how the other person has coded it... ----------------- The MOST IMPORTANT things for the front page is.. I need to get load time down from 4.5 seconds to around 2.5.. so less on frontage, more clearer, more concise, and everything must be responsive as it already is. All images must allow me to change alt tags, and the top 5 products must allow me to change these easily myself with search engine friendly text that will help me rank well again for terms "Magic Shop" and "Magic Tricks" --------------- -------------- Please quote separately for this... but My front end of my site is Wordpress, and /magic-shop/ is X-cart. How much to create a system that I can choose any product from my site using the same instant search function as at: [login to view URL] so I can choose a product and it will display say in the top 5, It would then take that image... shrink it to as low as possible in size with good quality and display as part of the front page. I would then perhaps have Top 5 New Tricks and perhaps other magic sections if selected --------------
