Briefly, my husband died suddenly on our honeymoon about 6 weeks ago at just 35 years old, leaving behind a legacy of notebooks of artworks, poems, mazes, stories, etc. that I'd like to self-publish and perhaps sell off as a print book or as a download from the [login to view URL] website. I want to edit the book myself and there may be enough material to do one book as a children's book and another as a compilation of all his art. My budget is honestly small, and I'm not sure really how much design work we're talking about, but I might actually really need to get quotes from printers and also to harmonize the design theme of the book with the website design.

I am new around here, therefore I have not filled much in my portfolio yet, but you can see samples of some books, albums, children books and websites. I can do this project as you wish, I have more than 15 years experience in design and print. Hello, first of all: your husbands passing is really sad, and in all honesty I feel sorry for you. If you don't mind that I am not in your time-zone (I'm on GMT + 2) I might be helpful. As an Illustrator by trade and a Media-Designer by education (and professional trainer for Media-Designers since 1983, with a German Federal license for the latter) I have a lot of experience in the whole field of pre-print preparation. When I read your brief, I also thought about getting your project(s) founded, and I think that there might be a way to get that done.
