Design Firm Branding Logo

We are a small startup urban staging and redesign firm in Austin, TX and need a very catchy graphic logo to go with our company name "mockup." The key items we are looking for is geometric and simple. I have attached a few graphic designs we have found to show the direction we would like to head. The font we would like to use for letters, correspondence etc. is Avant Garde. If you have any other suggestions please feel free to include them. Love the thin gothic quality to the font. Here are our comments to the following attached examples: They Halcyon - We love the overall look of this design. The geometric use of the letter H and the font that accompanies it with the dark black background. Would love to find a way to incorporate an M & U from mockup into it or just the M in a similar fashion. Camp Luxe - Love the overall look of this as well. The gray background, the different font thickness and coloring. Perhaps we could use the same effect with mockup with the "up" being a different bold color or just the "u." Also like the brackets used to surround the name. MUMEDi - Like the lines that separate the letters. The word mockup means to create an example of a design and also includes scale. This look evokes that feeling of scale. The facebook/Twitter links - Love the gritty urban feel to these graphics. Again you have the gray with a nice bold blue color next to it. The red is nice too. redfish- Again the gray is nice with the thin white font. The lone red letter indicative of what could be done with the "u" in mockup. Coco Cozy - Anther geometric example that we love. She incorporates here branding into product designs and would love to be able to do the same in the future. Home - another good example of font and color combinations. These are a few examples that we hope will help in providing inspiration for this project.
