Design Linkedin Banner

GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1. Linkedin has recently allowed premium account holders to post a what they term as “profile background” which effectively is a banner onto their profile page which could be used to provide visual messaging of a corporate or personal nature. This link would give you an overview of this new facility by Linkedin - [login to view URL] 2. We are seeking to use this space to position a corporate advertising banner for our company. 3. The banner would covey our corporate branding and services - any visitor to the page should quickly understand what our company does and where it operates. 4. The attached file [login to view URL] shows what the profile would look without the banner. 5. Attached file [login to view URL] demonstrates what the profile would like with the banner 6. The image [login to view URL], we have highlighted the visible section of the banner with a red highlight. As you would see part of the banner is overlapped by the Linkedin profile itself and would not be visible. The design would need to accommodate for this overlap. DELIVERABLE SPECIFICATIONS 1. The resolution of the banner should be 1400 X 425 (1400 width & 425 Length) pixels. As mentioned earlier, a section of this banner would be overlapped by the linkedin profile and the design must work around this to ensure all information is visible and is not cut off by the overlap. 2. The winning vendor would deliver 2 deliverables. a. Source file for the banner in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent format b. JPG version of the file which MUST be smaller than 4.00 MB – this file will be posted to Linkedin. DESIGN INPUTS: 1. We would provide a PDF copy of our brochure which would convey our brand and general look and feel. 2. Copy of a corporate branding image pattern which we are using as part of our corporate communication. 3. General description of what we would expect to see within the banner: a. Our logo and company name must appear clearly and our company branding pattern should be used within the background. b. Shade variations or other effects should be used to provide a unique and attractive effect. c. Our countries of operation should be clearly communicated via the country names and their flags d. Our services should be communicated via text and use of images e. Our company Tag line should appear prominently
