Create a Fantasy Combat Simulator/Army Builder-Management Program -- 2

This is an exciting project and one I am excited to start working on. I played basic D&D when I was a kid and have played other role-playing games so I'm familiar with the type of problems you are running into. This will be in Excel with multiple tabs for army creation, standard NPC templates, weapons/armor/modifier tables and a main battle view. A random number generator will determine who is attacking whom and how much damage is inflicted. You will be able to see how your army is doing from the main battle view and determine if you want to retreat or continue the attack. Hi, i'm a developer specialized on microsoft technologies. i thing is a bit weird that you want to simulate a combat with no graphics, but ok. i can make your application using C# and wpf (or using unity 3d and some of the scrips for rts). i have some questions: 1) how do you plan to show the results? 2) how fast you want the simulation run? (as fast as posible? "realtime" to show the statistics of the battle meanwhile it the battle happens?)
