Analysing data from Excel Spreadsheets

I need past football results analysing for trends to try to predict the frequency which results may occur. The spreadsheets are at [login to view URL] and they contain data abotu previous results/shots on target etc etc. I want to try to predict how many goals per game by analysing the number of goals in the previous 8 games for each team and then seeing if there is a correlation. For example in a match between Arsenal and Man Utd, there has been a total of 28 goals scored by both teams in the last 8 matches. I want to know the number of matches in the last 5 years for which there have been 14 goals scored by both teams and the number of goals. Basically, if thhere is someone out there who can get excel to do exactly what they want, then i can give you the requirement for each question and then you can code excel to perform the funtion.
