CSV to Text File Conversion

This project is about converting a CSV file which contains sales transaction into another CSV file with predefined fields. So basically you will need to parse columns from the source CSV file and insert them into the destination CSV file. The desired .NET application will parse a directory containing several source CSV files each belong to a unique store in the premises, all source CSV files will have the same structure. The desired app needs to convert each of the source CSV files into a separate new destination CSV file. The destination CSV file has a predefined template. You will insert into this template the parsed columns and insert them into the destination CSV template and save it as a new file and so on. There will be a list of well defined business rules to take into consideration while converting files. Business rules will be share later on during low level design. Source files can be Excel files too, but will all be consistent, i.e. share the same column structure. The app will need to provide extensive logging to reflect success, failure, duplicate sales records, inconsistent source file name, etc. It is preferable that logging be inserted into a simple SQL Database and provide a simple web interface to query it based on store name, ID, date, etc. This has been done before so I have a very good idea about what needs to be done. please PM any questions you may have and I will answer you at the earliest convenience.
