I have two worksheets with lots of data
I need the first set of data to be matched agains the second.
I need this to be done manually to be sure
There are 1085 entries to check
Sheet one is a list of projects
Sheet two is a list of payments for those projects
Both have a matching project ID
Job is to match the payments to the projects
Some projects may have more than one payment
JOBS
1. In the project sheet create extra columns
Payment 1, Date, Amount, Amount in GBP 1, payment ID, Payment 2, Payment Date, payment id 2, Amount in GBP 2, Amount, Payment 3, Amount in GBP 3, Date, Amount, payment id 3
2. Look at the first payment in the payment sheet
Find the project and enter the payment into the first payment column adding the date, amount, amount in GBP (you will need to calculate) and payment id
Do this for each row in the payment sheet
If you find a second payment for a project the add it to the second set of columns Payment 2, Date 2 etc
3. Make a note or mark any payment in the payment sheet which you cannot find the project for
4. Bids
