I'm a mechanical engineer, 3D designer and modeler.
I could design your movable tank, and I have to make the following observations:
- the tank should be in a double walled container to avoid spills in the case of the penetration of the first layer, or damage of the exterior layer;
- there should be a volumetric pump (pallets, piston, al weiller, etc) which to handle the transfer of the combustible from the tank to the other vehicle. ideally this should be high debit and powered from the carrier vehicle (12/24VDC)
- the hose used to fuel up the other vehicle should have at one end a rapid coupling and on both ends check valves to avoid losing the remaining fuel on the hose
- if the purpose of this project is to become a commercial system/device (ex for assistance cars) it is compulsory to have a flowmeter in order to know how much fuel was pumped and how much money should be charged
- the tank itself should have several features (anti foaming walls, vapors exhausting, level indicator which could be optical/mechanical or electronic).
And so on...
I could design this portable tank for you in the best manner, including all the devices and feature listed above.
Based on your input (drawings/sketches, etc) I will make a basic model which to show of the overview of the tank.
On this model, with your indications and observations, I will make the required adjustments/modifications until the desired model is reached.
