Project in a nutshell: AC/DC power and frequency measurement. Read ADC input channels of 5 volts dc or 5v ac and display on 16 x 4 / 16 x 2 displays. Graphics LCD add-on option desirable. Throw values out through serial port. Optional software/I2C RTC and data logging.
Application : Solar inverter
Controller : PIC/Atmel or any other controller, DIP package with Price below 2.2 - to 3$ preferred.
Help from our side : Full algorithm, hardware design etc. We have a project with us already, with less number of channels.
Note: Almost the same project is available on Google with source code, but with fewer input channels ie: less number of voltages to be measured. You can use a mux like 4051/67 for extending channels.
