Convert Word Doc to Excel

I need a large number of Word for Windows (2003) files reformatted into one or several Excel files. The docs include directory-type information: ABC Company, Inc. 1234 Main Street Los Angeles, CA 90011 Phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx Fax: xxx-xxx-xxxx [ e-mail address ] [login to view URL] John Brown, contact Comments: want they sell, what they do, what they do, what they sell, etc. There are about 1,000 pages of one-column data, or about 50,000 lines of data. My rough guess is that there are about 1,500 to 2,000 companies, perhaps half of which are in several categories. We need only the NON-comment information: company, address, city, state, zip, e-mail, website, contact name (if provided) We can deliver the Word docs either as 3-column listings, with a line space between entries, or in one column, but with the listings running together (without the line space between entries.) The listings are grouped by the line of business each company is in. We want the line of business to be added to the Excel listing, in whatever way is easiest -- a word, a phrase, a numeral, etc. Some companies will appear in several line-of-business listings. It is up to you to decide if it is easier to provide duplicate company listings, or to maintain a "master" list of companies, and prove multip line-of-business indicators to each company entry. Time is of the essence. This is NOT a job for a sole practitioner, but for a company that provides data entry or word processing services and that has multiple workers available for the project.
