(bear in mind this is a text written for a bid on writing sales pages; I think it's relevant enough to post here; as "proposal" really is a way of selling..).

Why I could do sales, and do it well, even with practically no experience comes from the fact of my honesty. I live for truth; and that, if anything, is what will really catch anyone's attention in this manipulation-day-and-age.
How do I know this? Well.. apart from the fact that it makes perfect sense - that people, who are used to having people try and manipulate them to do things, become interested in the rare occurences when that isn't the case - one of the best direct-respikonse copy writers goes by this method. What does he do? He simply writes a about the product to sell. He focuses on the positives of it, states in what ways someone might benefit from those positives, and that's it. He feels he has nothing to prove, lets the product speak for itself, and then cash in on that.
...And, would you say I'm naturally persuasive (without trying to kiss your ass/force you to do anything) in this text?
