Dear BJMacPherson,
I have worked with Cisco products and Wireless Access Points before during my studies; CCNA 1-4 + Security and other setups. With setting up these AP's I would first perform a Requirements Analysis to determine:
- Your current configurations; VLANs (if any), DHCP Server (if any), Subnetting & IP Addresses Used;
- Whether you are currently running 802.11 WPA2 Enterprise Password Security; or just standard WPA2;
- If you are running a Power Injector or not;
- What passwords you would like placed on the Access Point.
Upon determining the requirements and necessary information, I will then proceed to configure each Wireless Acesss Point individually before mounting them and completing the job.
Additional Questions:
1. Are there cables already setup and ready for the Wireless Access Point (from gateway to designated locations for each AP)?
I'm still a student and therefore I have set the estimated time for completion as 4 days due to my schedule; though this could be much sooner. I am located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, but I'm frequently in the city and am able to do an on-site job.
My schedule is as follows (based on regular business hours):
Monday - 9am - 4.30pm
Tuesday - N/A
Wednesday -9am - 5pm
Thursday - 1pm - 5pm
Friday - 9am - 5pm
If you wish for the Access Points to be configured and installed after hours, this may be arranged.
Thank you for your time, and I hope we can undergo this project together.
Kind Regards,
Truc Phan.
