There are some chemicals that slow it (most added in the process of manufacture). A coating can be developed, too. Its results will be weaker, due to the sole advantage of binding between UV stabilizer or Optic Whitener and the base of the polymer. The yellowing is unavoidable with time, irreversible and sooner or later all plastics and polymers start to yellow.

Hi. I have been thinking about the problem you face and have a question. Are you looking for a fibreglass formulation that is more resistant to discoloration over time or a cleaning product to try and remove the discoloration once formed. My gut feeling is that a cleaning product will not be effective if the fibreglass has darkened within the internal matrix and that the ultimate solution is to use UV resistant fibreglass in the first instance.
