CSS Image Slider Integration

I need a Javascript slider integrating into my website. I assume there is some CSS styles that clash, meaning when I insert the code into my current website it doesn't appear correctly.
The issue: When I insert the slider into my website layout, the width and height of the slider is far bigger than what it should be.
