I will use the best practice for implanting the Web API using the following:- 1- Using OAuth 1.0 or Http Header for implementing the security depends on requirement. 2- Using JSON or XML as a result. 3- Write a very clean code to make it readable and maintainable to any other developer. 4- Consider performance. 5- Apply object oriented concept. 6- Using GIT or TFS for the source control. 7- Using E-Government methodologies for implementing the security. 8- Ability to use more than end point if needed. 9- Using the best practice for sorting the project files.
