As someone who has worked in business development for a decade, I am constantly involved in projects related to strategic analysis, financial management, P&L and so forth. Please let me specify I am not a CPA - I am a Business Development specialist. My bid includes reading through your entire plan and evaluating where you will anticipate changes based on US market and tax code differences. One key factor for this is realizing that each state you plan to perform business in is going to vary with regard to tax structure; certain taxes - such as capital gains - are easily transferable, but state tax codes and laws will certainly vary. That being said, as a development specialist my goal will be to evaluate and recommend changes to financial lay out that will better reflect a US roll out from that perspective, as opposed to that of a basic accountant.
