You have a $5000 budget and your plan will need to include the following elements: • Situation Analysis • One overall objective for the campaign • Publics • Strategy – 3 strategies • 4 Tactics for each strategy • Calendar/timetable • Budget • Evaluation – how will results be measured Projects should be: • 6-10 pages – Bullets are fine for some sections. • Typed, double-spaced • In a nice presentation folder I need to approve your product/company/event by Wednesday, April 5. Grading Criteria (Total 150 points): • Did you plan include all the elements listed above? • For each elements: o Situation Analysis - Was your situation analysis thoroughly thought out? Did you include all relevant parts of a situation analysis including company-specific and marketplace-specific? o Objectives – was your objective actually an objective? o Publics – did you include all relevant publics? Did you go beyond basic information about each public? o Strategies – were three listed? Were they true strategies to help meet your objective? o Tactics – were 4 listed for each strategy? Were tactics specific to each strategy? Did you use out-of-the-box thinking in your tactics? o Calendar/timetable – did you develop an adequate timetable for your plan? o Budget – did you address all costs of each tactic? Did you stay within budget? Did you allot for contingencies? o Evaluation – did you discuss in detail how you would evaluate tactics, strategies and objective?
