The beautiful thing about writing is that it isn't limited to just the writers, to just pen & paper, or overused keyboards. Writing can be told in every shape and form: the curve of the mouth; the softness of the eyes; the way somebody moves when she wants to cave into herself and cry. Everything is writing, and this has been my experience. I think this is good because writing isn't only about ideas. It's about living. It's about turning up the volume of the world. So I write. I have learned to jot down details & turn words over until they sound what they're supposed to sound like. I can do different styles & perspectives.
